On receipt of shipping orders from the publisher, Publishers Storage and Shipping Corp. picks, checks, packages, affixes postage and ships all customer orders so that with normal postal or freight handling the shipment is delivered in acceptable condition. Turnaround time on shipping orders is typically 48 hours or less of receipt of orders. This presumes a regular daily order flow. Publishers Storage and Shipping Corp. furnishes, at no extra cost to the publisher, appropriate packing materials, unless the publisher has special requirements. Publishers pay own postage and freight expenses. (A special fund, Publishers Escrow Postage Trust, has been set up for the publisher's postage moneys. An estimated two months postage deposit is suggested for this account.)

Publishers Storage and Shipping Corp. inventory records are constantly adjusted to reflect all disbursements. No inventory movement, in or out, takes place without record of the same. Foreign shipments are packed and shipped in accordance with postal or freight specifications. Publishers Storage and Shipping Corp. prepares extra labels and export documents when necessary. All foreign shipments are given extra protective cartoning.
